Solarize Home Energy was founded in 2022 by a licensed master electrician. We're a solar and electrical contractor based in Connecticut with active operations across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.
Trade Background
Our team comes from the electrical trade with master electrician licensing. Every project is approached as electrical work first, with code compliance built into every design and installation decision.
Owner-Operated
Solarize is run by its founder with in-house installation and electrical crews. Project oversight, quality control, and customer communication all go through the same person who started the company.
New England Coverage
We serve homeowners, commercial property owners, and solar companies across five states. Our crews maintain active licensing and familiarity with permitting and inspection standards in each region.
Our Story
Solarize Home Energy launched in 2022 with a different approach. Not as a sales-driven company that subcontracts the technical work, but as a hands-on operation where the same crew designing and installing your system is the crew wiring it. The first projects were residential rooftops across Connecticut. From there, the company expanded into commercial solar installations, battery systems, and ongoing service and maintenance — including troubleshooting and repairing systems originally installed by other contractors.
Today, Solarize Home Energy operates across five New England states with dedicated installation and electrical crews, continuing to build on the same core principle: do the work right, and stand behind it.

Every design decision and installation practice starts with NEC compliance and local code requirements. Systems are engineered to pass inspection the first time.

We maintain active licensing and project experience across Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. Our crews know the permitting and inspection standards in each state.
Diverse Project Experience
We work on residential rooftops, commercial arrays, service calls on systems we didn't install, and crew support for partner solar companies. That range covers a wide variety of configurations and conditions.
What Makes Us Different
Our owner is on job sites, involved in project planning, and available for direct communication. The person running the business is the same person overseeing the work. That means decisions get made quickly, problems get caught early, and there's no disconnect between what's promised and what's delivered.
Every project is supervised by licensed master electricians. The electrical scope stays with our crews from the main service panel to the last module connection. We don't split the work between a solar crew and a separate electrical contractor, the same team handles both, which eliminates the coordination gaps that lead to mistakes and failed inspections.
We also work alongside other solar companies. If you need installation crews, electrical support, service and O&M, or help clearing PTO punch-list items and corrective work we operate as an extension of your team.
